Yes. All wallets are made to order. You can select your exterior shell color, choose contrasting or matching interior lining leathers (such as goatskin or calfskin), customize pocket layouts, and select your preferred thread color. Contact me directly to discuss a bespoke build.
Shell Cordovan requires very little maintenance due to its high natural wax and oil content.
- Routine Care: Buff the leather regularly with a clean horsehair brush or a dry micro-fiber cloth to bring back its natural sheen.
- Conditioning: Only apply specialized cordovan creams (such as Saphir Médaille d'Or Renovateur or Cordovan Cream) very sparingly once or twice a year. Avoid standard leather conditioners, which can cloud the finish.
- Moisture: If the wallet gets wet, wipe it dry immediately with a soft cloth and let it air-dry naturally away from direct heat sources.
Shell Cordovan is naturally water-resistant due to its dense fiber structure and high wax content, but it is not completely waterproof. If exposed to water, tiny raised spots ("welts") may temporarily appear on the surface. These are harmless and will smooth out once dry by buffing the area firmly with a horsehair brush or a dry microfiber cloth.
Each component is carefully skived and edge-beveled to reduce unnecessary bulk while maintaining structural integrity. The result is a sleek, compact profile designed comfortably for front-pocket or back-pocket carry without feeling overly rigid or bulky.
Because every wallet is patterned, cut, assembled, and finished by hand to order, typical turnaround time ranges from 2 to 4 weeks depending on current order volume and leather availability.
